About the course

This course and it’s designs challenge accepted definitions of the bicycle frame, enables students to convey the concepts they and faculty have formulated and the methods of condensing comprehensive research into design. The course presents the theoretical and practical frameworks to apply acquired knowledge, specifically this year's theme: bicycles. The bicycle frame provides an opportunity to review various situations and find ways to provide feasible solutions. All planning begins with the design of the initial frame, meaning a skeleton or base. The modest bicycle still offers a challenge in selecting the optimal technology and materials and is a complex task.
