Collaboration between an Inclusive Design Research Course and a Visual Communication Course. The 'Inclusive Design Research Course' is a bridge between first-year introductory studies and full design projects. During it, students become acquainted with the various stages in the research and development process, with the inclusive approach to design discussed as an integral part of the research and development processes. Methodologies of active user research are studied with respect to users and extreme scenarios and from the perspective of diversity.     

The set of aspects that make up the user experience in various spaces and contexts are discussed and demonstrated, while addressing systemically and multidimensionally the issues of accessibility, including ergonomics, cognition, verbal accessibility, cultural and economic. The course examines the overall approach to design as a leverage for innovation and as a general value creation for all users. At the same time, the course deals with aspects of culture, aesthetics, formal language and their interaction with function and accessibility. The main project in the course dealt with the subject of sleep and in which design solutions to the challenge were developed: How we can promote habits, lifestyles, and spaces for the benefit of improving sleep and quality.

The 'Visual Communication Course' combines the presentation skills to create a complete presentation that presents one project, with an emphasis on perfecting the skill for creating videos as a tool for presenting projects. Tools and methods for conveying messages are learned, we discuss all the aspects that make up an experience in different contexts, visually and emotionally, along with creating understanding, pleasure, and a change of consciousness in the viewer. Students practice building the story, presenting a need, formulating and constructing the logic that leads to understanding the project presented. The course examines the visual experience while breaking it down into practical tools, with an emphasis on sound, composition, and movement. During the course, a workshop is held with film professionals. Students experience storyboard building and working with video editing software. The main project of the course dealt with refining and summarizing concepts and work processes into a presentation in a video.
